Oct05 Pomegranates: Seasonal Inspiration 2011
One of my favorite ways to find inspiration for an event is to look to seasonal items and ingredients that are abundant! With autumn in full bloom, farmer’s markets and produce aisles are now featuring the ever so hard-to-eat-but-totally-worth-it fall fruit–pomegranates! Their pop of saturated color is an ideal starting point for a fall color palette! Check out some of my favorite images from an inspiration shoot put together by photographer Anabella Charles and floral designer Karen Woodward of Haute Horticulture (along with rentals from Mahaffey Rentals).
I also love the ombre cake colors!

Natalie Chang did the calligraphy. She did all of the paper goods and Kristin Wolter Canfield of Mama y Wawa did all of the flowers and cloth wrapped favors! They are very talented! <3
