Nov10 The Gardens at Peacock Farms 2011

Christmas songs are already playing on the radio. I can’t believe how quickly the holidays (and engagement season!!!) are approaching! We are getting amped up for a beautiful holiday season, but today, we are featuring Jamey and Jon’s gorgeous summer wedding shot by Mirelle Carmichael. The details are simple, sweet and perfectly charming!

A little more about Jamey and Jon’s details:

Jamey and Jon chose to compliment the gorgeous greens of the venue grounds with shades of plum, light pink, and cream. The color scheme echoed throughout their floral arrangements, wedding party attire, and dessert buffet. The bouquets and boutonnieres featured Cafe au Lait “Dinner Plate” dahlias along with natural scented geranium, lambs ear, lavender and garden rose accents. Mason jars delicately tied with raffia were hung from the ceremony aisle. Strings of edison bulbs lined the dance floor and centerpieces were made up of vintage vases and mason jars in varying heights; complimented with raffia ribbon and heart shaped wooden table numbers. The couple’s wedding programs had a custom crossword puzzle on the back, and the reception tables held cards with the answers to the puzzles. Guests enjoyed a custom designed dessert buffet in a plum and pink theme and were treated to chocolate dipped strawberries, chocolate hearts, plum colored licorice, pink and cream marshmallow sticks, and jellybeans.
