Nov09 Sweet Southern Charm 2011

Today’s beautiful wedding is so dang charming, it’s about to knock your socks off! Some of my favorite elements of Sarah and Kyle’s wedding include the centerpiece flags, the bride’s handmade paper wreath, as well as the large bridal party that were uniquely spaced and coupled during the ceremony! I also adore the sweet bon voyage flags that the bride made for guests to help with their farewell. So much fun!

Enjoy all the lovely images by Three Nails Photography.

From the bride, Sarah:

My inspiration for our wedding came from the look and style of the Dupree House. I wanted everything to have a homespun feel. As an artist, I knew I wanted to create many of the decorations myself. It’s easy to become overwhelmed when this is the case. My advice to other brides, especially those who want to be artistically involved in the design of their wedding, is:

-Know what you like
-Plan ahead (VERY ahead)
-Realize that you can’t do everything yourself
-Don’t be afraid to ask for help
