I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

Bright yellow. Black-and-white stripes. Tuxedos. Bliss. I first spied Morgan and Joel’s wedding on Caitlin Wilson’s amazing blog, Style Files (hint hint…check it out!). Morgan and Joel’s yellow and black tuxedo wedding was styled by Brooke Foley of  Meet The Foleys Event + Design Studio, who even created their DARLING invitation suite! I absolutely adore Brooke’s work and this wedding really shows off her design chops! It also happens to be photographed by one of my all time favorite photographers, Jill Thomas, who really can do no wrong. Ever. Combine those talents–well, your jaw is about to drop.

Oh…and that gorgeous cake??? It’s by Flour and Flower Designs! LOVE it!

Morgan chimed in and gave us a little extra info:

Brooke Sirianni and I designed all the bridesmaid dresses in New York using silk charmuese fabric we picked up in the garment district and had them made custom. We let each of their girls describe things they would like in their dresses–ruffles, bows, straps, etc so that each could express and wear what is them! I also designed my own dress and had Nicol Pavel,  who custom creates many of the debutante gowns in Newport beach, sew and create the dress for me from scratch. It was a DIY wedding, to say the least!! Lots of work, but SO much fun!
