I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

A quick elopement with a short dress, tuxedo, kelly green balloons, and a bistro dinner with wedding ice cream is exactly something we think Lady Kate herself would approve of. eLLe PHOTOGRAPHY, one of our absolute faves, sent over the story of Amber and Aaron and we were smitten!

Amber and Aaron met about a year ago and instantly connected.  Almost a year to the date that they met, Aaron proposed.  The twist is that he, like Harry in “When Harry Met Sally,” felt that when “you know you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, you want the rest of your life to start right away.”  So in addition to proposing marriage, Aaron suggested that they get married as soon as possible.  Both Amber and Aaron wanted a simple wedding with just the two of them, and since they live in San Francisco, they decided that a City Hall wedding would be perfect.  Luckily, a date was a available two weeks after the proposal, so they booked it & started planning the details.  Amber chose a Kate Spade dress and cardigan with gold accessories & pretty, seasonal flowers from a favorite local florist.  They married on a sunny, Friday afternoon, just the two of them, with only their photographers as witnesses (which we just loved!).  After the ceremony, they headed to the San Francisco institution, Zuni Cafe, for celebratory lunch.  They are so happy they just kept things simple, yet special.
