Joe and Julie are an incredibly vibrant couple that just exude happiness! We love the story that their wedding photographer, Kerinsa Marie Photography, told us about how they met:
Joe, the groom, works for UPS and he met Julie when their wedding officiant {Robert’s} route was changed. When Joe mentioned he was smitten with one of the Artisan Center girls, Robert asked Joe, “The sparkly one? Yes, that’s Julie!”
How amazing is that? You never know where you’ll meet the love of your life. Well, Joe and Julie’s wedding is nothing short of whimsical and cheerful! There are so many great ideas and such a celebration of color, that we know you’ll adore it.
From the bride:
I wanted this wedding to be an outward expression for the love I feel for this incredible man. I feel as though I am in a magical land when I’m with him; safe from everything, loved, sparkly, alive and totally myself. I wanted to take all this heart over pouring with joy love and make it visual. We wanted everyone to feel relaxed and to be themselves, so the idea to have the wedding on Joe’s mom’s farm was perfect! I began planning decorations within a week of the proposal wanting to incorporate one of the other great loves of my life: handmade paper. Joe and the boys were troopers and spent many hours helping cut strips of paper, hot gluing banners, and assembling projects. When I told Joe we would be dying 3,000 coffee filters to make peonies, he very wisely put an end to further projects!
The day was perfect. So many people came together to help us decorate the tent, prep the yard, set up hay bales; it was a party days in advance! We asked guests to bring a dish to share instead of a gift to add to the casual community celebration feeling of the day. This was one of our favorite decisions! This day, the setting, the people gathered around us, and Joe were all more perfect than I could have ever imagined! We heard comments that it felt like a magical far away place…and that’s just what I wanted, because this love I feel is magic!
