Nov16 Real Wedding: Casey and Erin 2010

Casey and Erin’s wedding is one of those ones that will be just as lovely ten or twenty years from now as it is today. I’ve got to admit, I’m kind of a sucker for classic weddings (and tuxedos?? I know you know. They are my weakness!). Erin is a rocking a dress by Jenny Packham who is one of my favorite designers ever!!! Oh man…there’s just so much pretty here! In fact, if you want to see more, be sure to check out Pheobe Chauson’s blog. Her photos are so lovely, I imagine this post won’t be enough. Be sure to check out Phoebe’s commentary on Casey and Erin’s gorgeous wedding!

Oh…and all that cutie stationery?? MaeMae Paperie. Of course.

Casey and Erin are just the two sweetest, coolest people I have ever met.  It was such a privilege to witness their wedding because not only was it amazingly chic wedding but it also showcased their love for each other.  Pictures don’t quite adequately show the small things that show their love, how he constantly defers to help her with everything first (even holding all the bags of Erin’s leading ladies for a photo op), and how she couldn’t get through her vows without tearing up.  Their wedding had a very classic look but also managed to be a little modern, which is reflective of their style. Casey and Erin both have the last name Smith, so their event became Smith squared.  They transported all their guests in a huge red double decker bus (complete with an English driver.. or at least one who was very good at faking an accent!), while they themselves traveled in a classic white limo.  The cocktail hour was supplied with beer from the Smith family.
